Considering Daily DIY Life is just 4 months old, to recieve any recognition is beyond thrilling. The questions I was asked, and their answers!
- What is your favorite quote? I don’t really have a favorite quote per say. However, you can’t go wrong when quoting the dazzling Phylis Diller ? “Housework can’t kill you .. but why take the chance?” (I hate cleaning) LOL
- If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? This is a tough one! I love food of all kinds. I should say lobster because it is my favorite, wait yes that’s what I will say. Lobster every day! Yes please.
- If you had an extra $10,000 what would you do with it? I would pay off some debt first, and then take a family vacation. Disney or Hawaii even. Someplace fun for everyone!
- What charity/cause is important to you and why? The Salvation Army hands down. When we were young mom struggled. The only place that even tried to help her was the Salvation Army. And for that I will forever be grateful. I try to extend that helping hand especially during the holiday. Toys for tots is very important to our family.
- What is your favorite movie? My favorite movie is Pure Country with George Strait. I just love him and some day I will marry him ? It’s ok my husband knows this!
- Who has been the most supportive person in your life? Gosh, there are so many people I could list here. But above all the one person that supports me in everything I do and all of the stupid decisions I have made over the years would have to be my mother. She is my rock and I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t have her to lean on.
- What is your greatest accomplishment so far? My greatest accomplishment would have to be the success of my children. Having 4 boys, there is always room for trouble! I am thankful that they are all headed in the right direction, and successful at everything they do.
- What is a random fact about you that not many people are aware of? I am TERRIFIED of spiders! well bugs of any kind really. If they crawl, fly or jump it is not for me!
- What is your biggest pet peeve? My biggest pet peeve is someone that chews with their mouth open. Bad table manners in general really. I just can’t take it. Even the kids know “the look” I don’t even have to say anything any more. ?
- How has blogging impacted your life? Blogging has impacted my life in so many ways. I think the friends I am making is one of the best things I’ve gotten from blogging. I am pretty shy (at first) so it’s been nice having others open up to me. There is so much to learn and it sure is nicer doing that with friends.
