Crate & Barrel is one of my favorite places – in stores and online.  They offer contemporary and stylish furnishings, accessories, lighting and bed & bath.  

The items are high quality, so they are also naturally a higher price tag, yet not unbearable.  I found several items in the sale zone that were marked down 80%!!! 

The Crate & Barrel website is easy to navigate and items online look just as beautiful in person.  If you are not wanting to do much work, and have a nice budget for decorating, Crate & Barrel is the only store you need.  Retail locations, online or by catalog.

Pottery Barn

Pottery Barn is a great source for those in need of traditional/ transitional, beach house, ranch style or farmhouse decor.  At Pottery Barn you will find lots of baskets, candle holders, tableware, serving trays, pillows, outdoor furniture and lighting.  

Online, Pottery Barn has very reasonably priced artwork and home accents.  Retail locations, online or by catalog.

Ballard Designs

Ballard Designs is my new favorite place to shop for decor & barstools!

Not only do they have great art for your walls, but they have mirrors, lighting, furniture and bedding.

Ballard is more for the Classic, Traditional, Farmhouse and Rustic style home.  Do check out their chairs, barstools and nautical themed wall art.  Online or by catalog.

Restoration Hardware

Can you say Grey?  

At Restoration Hardware you will find a very sophisticated color palette of  greys, wood tones and whites.  Everything they sell is graceful and elegant.  

They have many things for the Steam Punk lover, like industrial carts, vintage gear decor and warehouse lighting.  Retail locations as well as online and catalog.

Rejuvenation

Rejuvenation is a higher-end Pottery Barn that caters to the classic American Period Style home.  

If you are looking for classic school house lighting or a vintage tin sign for your walls, try Rejuvenation.  Online or by catalog.

CB2

I love me some CB2!  This is modern & contemporary stuff – no fuss.

Artful, eclectic and affordable, CB2 from Crate & Barrel, is the place to find your funky and unique table top decor and some great clocks, vases and furniture.  Online or by catalog.

Etsy

I could spend hours browsing on Etsy (and I do!).  

Etsy is a wonderful community of artisans who make everything by hand.  Handmade culture at its finest.  

Etsy has everything from cabinet knobs, tapestries, wall decor, not to mention clothing, purses and many other things a girl could get distracted by!  

Everything is sold direct from the people who make them.  You can ask questions and place custom orders with the artisans themselves.

Check out my favorite shop Back Bay Pottery.  Here you will find amazing tableware for the kitchen.  Butter dishes, bowls, cups and cute jewelry too!  Online only.

Wayfair

Wayfair is all over the web these days!  They carry a massive amount of brands as well as design styles.  

You can find ANYTHING on Wayfair.  Decor is a huge section – pages and pages and pages of decor…  

If you get overwhelmed, don’t go here.  This website is for true shoppers who don’t mind sifting thru “a zillion things home”, which is their company caption.  Online only.

All Modern

AllModern is the sister site of Wayfair.  It is all things modern.  Great for the modern or contemporary enthusiast.  Like Wayfair, they carry everything from lighting to sculptural wall art.  

What I love about AllModern is that it has a target audience, so if you don’t have to narrow your search to a certain style – it’s only modern.  Price range varies highly due to its vast selection.  Online only
