Ingredients:
Frozen meatballs, thawed (or your favorite recipe, cooked ahead)
Pizza dough in a can (in the refrigerated biscuit sections of your grocery)
Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Marinara Sauce
Wooden skewers – soaked for at least 30 minutes in water so they don’t burn
Preheat oven to 350 degrees – lightly grease cookie sheet or tray with cooking spray
Roll out the pizza dough just a bit to thin it out. Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into strips. about an inch and a half wide.
Start skewering your sticks .. start with the dough, then a meatball, pull the dough around the meatball as shown in the picture above. until you are able to finish with the dough last.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 8 – 10 minutes until dough is golden brown and meatballs are cooked through.
Sprinkle on the mozz. cheese after you pull it out of the oven. It will melt fast.
Serve with warm marinara sauce and enjoy!
