Choose three pieces of furniture: A white country-style rocking chair, a white crib, and an heirloom dresser to serve as a changing station.
If the room has a window, it’s the focal point of the wall in which it’s located. Don’t put anything in front of it. Instead, opt for a bold window treatment: exterior shutters, painted white and hinged to the outside of the casings, and featuring star-shaped cutouts. Open or shut, they add a real outdoor feel to the room.
