It is not very often that all of us girls can get together at the same time. So when we do, we make a full day of it. That usually consists of a little shopping, a fantastic meal, maybe a movie, and lots and lots of laughs. Catching up with each other is the highlight of the trip for sure. This week we headed out for a delicious breakfast at a local restaurant, then we hit up the stores to shop for an upcoming party we are all so excited for. Since we are usually gone from morning til’ night, I pack myself a small day trip bag of must haves. This keeps me confident that I will have everything I need to keep laughing and enjoying our day to the fullest.

My top 6 things to take on a day trip with the girls.
Hand sanitizer. This time of year, you just never know what is in the air, or what has been touched by the carts in the stores. Always stay germ-free with your own handy mini hand sanitizer. I found one that clips right to the handle of your bag for easy convenience.
Lip Gloss. I mean c’mon ladies am I right? Women just feel complete when they have on a nice silky shimmering gloss or a perfect shade of your favorite lipstick.
Kleenex. We will probably laugh so much it will bring tears to our eyes. That has happened a time or two. The mini packs are perfect and fit nicely right in your shoulder bag.
Gum or breath mints. Lunch and/or dinner happens. So does spicy or garlicky food. Must have the gum so we can keep talking to each other without holding our noses.
Cell phone charger. With all of the pictures we take when we’re together, our batteries run out quick. This way we can grab a quick charge and keep those smiles coming all day long.

Here are a few pictures of our day yesterday. The weather was a perfect 65 degrees, the sun was shining and the birds were chirping. What a fabulous day for an outing with friends!
You can never go wrong with a breakfast buffet! I may have over did it just a tad. But it was a special occasion, it’s ok!
We drove by this adorable barn a few times. I had to take a picture on our way home. If you look closely you can even see a horse right by the awning there. I just fell in love! This is now my screen saver on the laptop.
